Application sent. What happens next?
Keep the context and return to the conversation with confidence.

Save the vacancy, the résumé version you sent, and the submission date. Similar roles are easy to confuse after a week. Note what interested you about the team and what you still want to ask.
Opening an employer form is not the same as submitting an application. Wait for confirmation on the website or by email. If there is no confirmation, record the result as unknown, not rejected.
If you have a recruiter’s contact details and an agreed response date has passed, a brief follow-up is reasonable. Mention the role and conversation date, then ask whether there is any news. Avoid repeating the same message every day.
When you are invited to an interview, check the format, timezone, and participants. Put the link in your calendar. Review the résumé you sent and the job description.
Silence does not explain the employer’s decision. Keep looking and record facts you actually know. Your tracker should free up attention, not turn every day into a statistics check.
